I was just reminded of the time a patient said that I treated her with more dignity and respect than any other healthcare provider. All because I kept her covered with a towel during her ECG.
I still have to fight tears when I remember that.
Remember health workers, of the present and future, little things really can make a giant difference. Remember that it’s a person in that bed, not a broken machine.
